The Western Massachusetts Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. delivers comprehensive programming designed to develop African American youth into tomorrow's leaders while enriching the lives of all children across the region. Chartered in 2016, this chapter serves families throughout Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester Counties in Massachusetts, drawing members from Springfield, Longmeadow, Amherst, Worcester, and surrounding communities.
The organization implements a diverse range of educational and developmental initiatives centered on leadership development, cultural exposure, community service, legislative advocacy, and philanthropic giving. Their programs serve children ages two through nineteen, with structured offerings for different developmental stages including dedicated tracks for younger children and specialized programming for teens. Each initiative is designed to build strong foundations of academic excellence, civic responsibility, and cultural pride.
As part of the Eastern Region of the national Jack and Jill of America organization—which includes 59 chapters across eleven states—the Western Massachusetts Chapter benefits from established best practices and resources while maintaining local relevance and community connection. The chapter brings together mothers, fathers, and families united by a commitment to nurturing the next generation of African American leaders.
