About Utah Black Roundtable

The Utah Black Roundtable is a statewide coalition based in Ogden, UT, dedicated to addressing critical issues impacting the African American community throughout Utah. As a collaborative organization of individuals, groups, and organizations, the Utah Black Roundtable works strategically across multiple key areas including education, juvenile and criminal justice, health and environmental concerns, political action, community and economic development, and special populations outreach. Through focused advocacy efforts and strategic partnerships, the organization serves as a unified voice working to enhance quality of life and eliminate racial and ethnic disparities that affect Black and African American residents across the state. The Utah Black Roundtable recognizes that meaningful change requires coordinated action and collective engagement. The organization conducts community conversations, hosts the State of Black Utah Town Hall, facilitates voter registration initiatives, and supports opportunities for Black and African American youth development. Operating from Ogden, the Utah Black Roundtable also manages communication and outreach efforts to ensure community members have access to critical information and resources. By bringing together diverse perspectives and mobilizing community members around shared goals, the organization works to ensure that the concerns and experiences of Utah's Black population are visible, heard, and addressed in policy and practice.
