National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. Greater Jackson Chapter

The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. Greater Jackson Chapter serves the Ridgeland, MS community as a professional membership organization dedicated to advancing black professionals in accounting, finance, and related business fields. Based in the Greater Jackson area, the chapter provides comprehensive education, resources, and meaningful career connections designed to support both professional and student members pursuing excellence in their careers.

NABA Greater Jackson specializes in bridging opportunity gaps for minority accounting professionals throughout Mississippi. The chapter offers members access to professional development programs, discussion forums, and collaborative communities where professionals can connect with peers, share industry knowledge, and advance their expertise. Through the Accelerated Career Awareness Program (ACAP), the chapter introduces high school students to accounting and finance careers while building awareness of personal financial literacy and professional development.

The chapter leverages NABA's extensive network of over 200,000 black professionals to create pathways for career growth and leadership development. Members benefit from access to shared resources, templates, industry best practices, and a private knowledge base that supports professional advancement. NABA Greater Jackson became an officially chartered chapter on June 6, 2017, and continues to serve as a catalyst for positive change within Mississippi's accounting and finance professions. The organization fulfills its mission of "Lifting As We Climb" by providing the tools, connections, and support necessary for black professionals to achieve career success and contribute to the advancement of the entire profession.
