The Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys (MBWA) is a not-for-profit professional bar association serving the Boston, MA community and beyond since 1981. Representing every sector of the legal community, MBWA members include judges, in-house counsel, law firm partners and associates, Fortune 500 and 100 company employees, solo practitioners, government attorneys, law professors, and legal experts. The organization is dedicated to advancing justice and ensuring fair and even-handed administration of the law, particularly as applied to women of color.

MBWA actively promotes legal education throughout Massachusetts by sponsoring educational seminars, lecture series, and panel discussions on subjects affecting the legal profession and broader community. Members work across all practice areas, providing comprehensive expertise and professional development opportunities.
