The Keith J. Williams Chapter of the National Black Law Students Association at Charleston School of Law in Charleston, SC provides comprehensive support designed to advance the academic, professional, and social development of Black law students. The chapter implements five core strategic objectives to accomplish its mission. Through its VOICE initiative, members participate in regularly scheduled meetings throughout each semester that create dedicated spaces for engagement with law school administration and the ability to express concerns and needs. The DEVELOPMENT program establishes a local support system featuring mentoring services that provide academic guidance and career counseling to all members.

Networking opportunities form a critical component of the chapter's offerings. Members benefit from meaningful connections cultivated within the organization, across the Charleston School of Law community, and throughout the broader legal profession. The chapter hosts regular social events including seafood boils and Sunday brunches designed to foster bonding among members, the student body, and alumni. Additionally, legal mixers connect members directly with practicing legal professionals in the Charleston area.

The RESOURCES objective ensures that members have access to collective chapter assets and study materials. First-year, second-year, and third-year law students receive class outlines and other educational resources throughout the academic year. The chapter remains committed to active involvement in the local Charleston community, leveraging its collective expertise and networks to address community needs through service initiatives and professional engagement.
