Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated Alexandria - Mt. Vernon Chapter serves the Alexandria, VA community through comprehensive youth development programming designed to cultivate the next generation of African American leaders. Since our founding in 1966, we have maintained a commitment to strengthening children and young adults through structured leadership development initiatives, meaningful volunteer service opportunities, and philanthropic engagement. Our organization provides a supportive environment where mothers and families work together to instill civic responsibility and community consciousness in young people. We focus on creating pathways for personal growth through mentorship, educational enrichment, and hands-on community involvement. Our membership organization welcomes mothers with children ages 2 through 19 who are interested in fostering leadership qualities, social awareness, and a commitment to giving back. Through coordinated programming and collaborative efforts, we help young people develop the skills, values, and confidence necessary to become active, engaged citizens. The Alexandria - Mt. Vernon Chapter remains dedicated to the Jack and Jill mission of nurturing future leaders while building strong family and community bonds. Our approach combines structured development activities with opportunities for families to connect with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to youth empowerment and community service.
