Jack and Jill of America, Inc. The Woodlands Chapter is a dedicated membership organization committed to developing future African-American leaders through comprehensive youth programming and community engagement. Serving The Woodlands, TX, the chapter offers age-appropriate activities designed to strengthen children from ages 2 through 19 across five distinct groups: Jumping Jacks for ages 2-5, Superstars for grades 1-3, Pacesetters for grades 4-5, Elites for grades 6-8, and Essence Teens for grades 9-12. Each group participates in cultural, educational, and social events throughout the year, providing structured leadership development and mentorship opportunities. The organization emphasizes the importance of family relationships, Black history education, and civic engagement. Beyond chapter programming, Jack and Jill of America delivers community service initiatives, legislative advocacy, and philanthropic giving opportunities that empower children to make meaningful differences in their communities. Founded in 1986 in The Woodlands, the chapter has grown to include 50 dedicated mother-members and 8 Associates who believe that every child, with proper guidance and opportunity, can develop into a leader. The organization operates as part of a nationwide network with over 271 chapters spanning seven geographic regions across 35 states and the District of Columbia. Membership is available through legacy or invitation only, ensuring a committed and intentional community of parents focused on nurturing the next generation of African-American leaders.
