Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Northeast Dallas Chapter serves families in Garland, TX and surrounding communities through comprehensive programming designed to nurture future African American leaders. Operating as a membership organization of mothers dedicated to strengthening children ages 2-19, the chapter delivers programming across five core programmatic areas: cultural awareness, educational development, social and recreational activities, health promotion, and civic engagement. The Northeast Dallas Chapter, established in 2009, extends its reach across multiple communities including Murphy, Wylie, Sachse, Garland, Plano, Rowlett, Rockwall, and parts of Allen, Texas. Through leadership development initiatives, volunteer service opportunities, philanthropic giving programs, and civic engagement activities, the organization creates meaningful pathways for youth development. The chapter implements service projects, educational programming, and community charitable events that advance public awareness and promote children's interests including child development, quality of life, child care, and protection of children's rights. With roots in the national Jack and Jill of America organization—founded in 1938 and now encompassing over 271 chapters representing more than 50,000 family members nationwide—the Garland-based Northeast Dallas Chapter maintains the same commitment to excellence and community impact. Membership is by invitation only and requires sponsorship from current members, ensuring a dedicated network of mothers committed to systematic approaches to service and leadership excellence for their children and the broader community.
