Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter serves families in Ossining, NY with comprehensive programming designed to nurture and develop African-American children ages 2-19 into future leaders. The organization delivers a multifaceted approach to child development through educational, cultural, civic, recreational, health, and social programs that strengthen young people while fostering meaningful connections among families in the Hudson Valley community.

As a membership organization of dedicated mothers, the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter provides structured leadership development opportunities, volunteer service initiatives, philanthropic giving programs, and civic engagement activities. Their programming encompasses cultural enrichment, financial literacy education, and legislative advocacy work that empowers both children and parents. The chapter maintains high standards of excellence, having earned Five Star Chapter of Excellence certification for three consecutive bienniums and recognition as the 2023 Eastern Region Chapter of the Year.

With 35 mother members, an active Fathers Auxiliary, and 65 children and teens, the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter operates under the core philosophy that every child, with proper guidance and opportunity, can develop into a leader. The organization's programming is intentionally designed to create healthy, mutually beneficial relationships that encourage individual growth and develop chapter and community leaders. Members benefit from access to both chapter-level programming and the National Programmatic Thrust initiatives that equip families with resources to make a difference in their communities. The Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter continues a legacy of over 30 years of service to the Hudson Valley region.
