Greater Champaign-Urbana Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

The Greater Champaign-Urbana Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization dedicated to developing the next generation of African American leaders through comprehensive programming and community engagement in Champaign, IL. Since its charter in September 2018, the chapter has grown to include thirty-three accomplished professional mothers committed to nurturing children ages 2 to 19 through structured leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty initiatives.

The organization delivers multifaceted programming aligned with national thrusts in cultural enrichment, education, civic-legislative engagement, health, and social-recreational activities. Members benefit from local children's programming, teen leadership development, and participation in regional and national conferences and summits. The chapter coordinates community impact initiatives including grant programs, adoption programs, and coordinated giving campaigns that strengthen the Champaign-Urbana area.

Comprised of diverse professional women including doctors, attorneys, professors, entrepreneurs, elected officials, and former NCAA athletes, the chapter leverages collective expertise to support youth growth and development. Programming highlights include Children's Oratorical Masters, Jack and Jill Swims, Teen Legislative Conferences, and Teen Leadership Conferences. The organization maintains active teen programming with dedicated teen executive boards and teen giving-back initiatives. Through strategic community partnerships and sustained commitment to service, achievement, and cultural heritage, the Greater Champaign-Urbana Chapter empowers families while advancing Jack and Jill's national mission of making a difference for all children.
