About Black Women's Roundtable

The Black Women's Roundtable, based in Washington, DC, is the intergenerational leadership development and empowerment arm of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation. As a signature program dedicated to advancing Black women and girls, the organization champions just and equitable public policies that center racial, economic, and gender justice. The Roundtable's comprehensive approach addresses critical areas including health and wellness, economic security and prosperity, education advancement, and global empowerment.

The organization operates multiple specialized programs designed to create tangible impact. The Take It To The TOP Collegiate Community Womens Entrepreneurship Challenge invests directly in Black women and girls by providing entrepreneurship training, social innovation guidance, and business leadership development. Participants gain access to essential resources and mentorship networks to launch, grow, and sustain successful minority women-owned businesses. The TOP Leaders Fellowship Retreat complements this by offering specialized leadership development and self-care programming designed to build capacity and restore emotional resilience.

Additionally, the SISTAR Power initiative delivers the "Healthy, Wealthy, Wise" online and community engagement programming that empowers Black women and girls to create positive personal, family, and community-level changes. The Roundtable's reach extends across multiple states including California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and throughout the Washington, DC metro area. Through civic engagement briefings, policy forums, and intergenerational leadership roundtables, the organization continues to amplify the voices and concerns of millions of Americans while building power and advancing systemic change.
