Black Women's Blueprint

Black Women's Blueprint (BWB) is a healing and transformation organization serving the Boonville, NY community and beyond. Founded by survivors for survivors, BWB provides comprehensive services and spaces dedicated to healing, reconciliation, and human connection with the natural world. The organization specializes in designing and practicing strategies for healing, health, and reparative economics through land-based work that brings people together around shared values of dignity and sovereignty.

BWB's approach integrates multiple dimensions of support, working at the intersection of gender justice, racial equity, and community healing. The organization addresses the particular problems facing Black women and girls—including gender violence, poverty, and over-criminalization—while centering their voices and experiences in broader civil and human rights conversations. By combining direct services with community organizing and political advocacy, BWB creates pathways for individuals and communities to experience transformation.

Since its founding in 2008, Black Women's Blueprint has grown into a movement that places Black women's lives at the center of African American community concerns. The organization leverages its unique position as a Black-led entity to address structural and historical racism while making explicit that gender justice must be at the forefront of change work. Through its integrated approach to healing and reparative economics, BWB offers practical strategies and supportive spaces for those seeking to reclaim their sovereignty and dignity.
