100 Black Men of Triangle East

100 Black Men of Triangle East is a nonprofit mentoring organization serving youth in Raleigh, NC and the surrounding Wake and Durham counties. Founded in December 1997, the organization delivers comprehensive programs designed to transform the lives of Black youth in grades 6-12 through structured mentorship and skill-building initiatives. The organization operates four core program areas: mentoring, health and wellness, education, and economic empowerment. Trained mentors serve as role models, guiding young people through evidence-based curricula that address the unique challenges facing Black communities while fostering achievement and personal growth. The health and wellness programs promote physical and mental well-being, while the education initiatives strengthen academic performance and college readiness. The economic empowerment track prepares youth for financial independence and career success. By combining personalized mentorship with targeted programming, 100 Black Men of Triangle East creates pathways for young Black individuals to become self-sufficient contributors to their communities.
