100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Inc.

100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful impact across four core pillars of service in the Tampa, FL community and surrounding nine-county region. Since its charter in 2002, the organization has systematically advanced educational opportunities, economic empowerment, health and wellness initiatives, and mentoring programs designed to strengthen African American families and youth. The organization's mentoring program pairs experienced members with mentees to positively impact the lives of tomorrow's leaders, ensuring personalized guidance and support throughout critical developmental stages. Through its education and scholarship initiatives, 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay sponsors scholarships, organizes college fairs, and conducts workshops to support students in achieving their academic goals. The health and wellness program raises awareness and provides access to healthcare information and preventative health strategies, addressing prevalent diseases that disproportionately impact African American communities. The economic empowerment agenda focuses on building self-determination and enabling individuals to create, pursue, and perpetuate their dreams. As one of over ninety national and international chapters of 100 Black Men of America, the Tampa Bay chapter leverages collective resources and diverse talents to serve Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, and Sumter counties. All organizational activities incorporate mentoring components, reflecting the group's commitment to comprehensive, holistic community development and leadership cultivation.
