100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia, Inc. is a community-based organization dedicated to transforming lives through comprehensive mentorship, education, and economic empowerment programs. Serving Rome, Georgia and the surrounding Northwest Georgia region, the organization operates four primary focus areas designed to create meaningful change in the lives of underserved youth and families. The 44 The Future Mentoring Program pairs experienced mentors with eager mentees, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development in a supportive environment. Foundation Camp, an enriching two-week summer program held at Georgia Highlands College, provides young men ages 10-14 with intensive developmental experiences. The Health Initiative For Men and Women (H.I.M.) offers free health screenings, expert consultations, and community education to promote wellness across all demographics. Beyond these core programs, the organization is committed to intellectual development and economic empowerment of the African American community, grounded in the values of respect for family, spirituality, justice, and integrity. With a network of dedicated professionals and community leaders, 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia extends its reach throughout Polk, Gordon, Bartow, Paulding, and Chattooga Counties, ensuring that youth in underrepresented communities have access to role models, guidance, and the tools necessary for success. The organization's motto, 'What They See Is What They'll Be,' reflects its core belief that mentorship and positive representation can fundamentally alter life trajectories for young people facing systemic challenges.
