100 Black Men of Grenada, Inc.

100 Black Men of Grenada, Inc. is a community-based organization dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for youth and families in Grenada, MS. The organization operates through four strategic focus areas designed to address critical needs in the local community. Through its mentoring program, the organization provides one-on-one relationships and peer models for young people in at-risk environments, guiding them from elementary through high school while preparing them for successful careers and active citizenship. The education initiative recognizes and promotes academic excellence, identifies students with potential who may be at risk, places in-school mentors, and introduces computer literacy skills to enhance educational outcomes. The economic development program trains youth leaders in entrepreneurial skills and wealth creation, providing job opportunities and teaching communities about business development strategies and financial management. Additionally, the health and wellness initiative conducts health forums, blood drives, and screenings while presenting anti-violence programs and addressing critical health concerns including HIV/AIDS, hypertension, diabetes, and prostate cancer awareness in the Grenada community. The organization is committed to improving quality of life across Grenada and surrounding communities by enhancing educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans.
